Firmer Than Their Rectangle, But Still Not a True Bolster

This is my second yoga bolster from this company because I was curious if they fixed the massive squish their rectangle one had. This round version is definitely a firmer cushion than the other one, but still not firm enough to function as a real bolster. It’s great for supported child’s pose — the height and density work well there, and it feels comfortable and stable. But during a supported chest or heart opener, it flattens like 75%. You lose almost all the lift you need, and the support just isn’t there.I do like it as a lumbar pillow and for supported child’s pose, and the design and embroidery are beautiful. I just wish it could do its full purpose as an actual bolster instead of collapsing under the poses that need the most structure.

Soft and lightSoft and light

Lovely soft velvet covered bolster. It's light in case you want to carry it around or take it with you to your yoga session. Mine is black with gold accents. I has a carrying handle on one side but it also comes with it's own shoulder bag - made from the same velvet material. It took a bit to inflate after unpacking and perhaps it's not as dense feeling as some others that are much heavier - I guess that's a bit of trade-off for portability. I did use it and like it for some exercises and stretching my back but haven't tried yet for meditation so not sure how it will feel after sitting on it for a while.
