It’s lightweight but it has a nice wooden frame. The print is decent quality. It is accurate to how described and looks like the advertisement. Overall I am pleased.

I ordered this solo koi fish framed art print to hang in my older son's bedroom. There is a small section of one wall next to his rather large television that was bare and lacking. The colors of his room are dark green with a touch of orange. The colors of this picture paired well with the existing color scheme and style of the room. This piece is a simple and basic nature print. The star of the show is the single koi fish that is very small, but stands out in bright orange against the murky and grassy pond filled with green plants, blue-green water lilies on the surface of the water and a couple of pink lotus flowers partial hidden by the lilies. I think the artwork does a great job depicting the genuine scene and environment. The matte dark colors give off a cool and calming vibe very suitable for a bedroom. The florals and grass are mostly dark blue and deep green shades which have a matte finish. This picture has texture with uneven and deep lines and markings with intermittent gaps that are positioned horizontally all across the canvas. It makes the pond appear deep and "real" like small waves or bubbles forming from the motion of activity in the pond. My son decided to add his own touch of creativity and asked me to hang the frame upside down with the koi on the top. This position makes the fish look as though he is swimming upward. Although there are flowers depicted in the images, they are not "girly" or feminine at all.This art piece has a real oak wood frame also has lines from the grain running up and down each side. These lines blend in well with those drawn in the canvas. This frame is a rather unique color as well. It is not the typical brown wood shade, but a deeper brown with undertones of reds and yellows. It is affixed tightly to the canvas and measures 12' acr oss and 16" down. It will not fill a wall but is perfect for small spaces and/or small wall areas. You could also prop this picture up on a desk top or tabletop for display. There is a white plastic piece with 3 gold nails and a clip that bows out to use to nail into the wall and hang the picture to keep it securely in place. This is a very lightwight decor item and likely just one nail alone would be sufficient.If you like a minimalist look and need smaller framed artwork, this is a great choice with the neutral colors and and layered texture. This wall art is very reasonably priced. To many, the koi fish is a symbol of resilience and perseverance, which is a positive message and quite motivating.
