Tabletop Water Fountain (10")

I really enjoy this Kingsyard 10.5" Tabletop Indoor Retro Cascacading Water Fountain. It’s a charming little fountain that adds a relaxing touch to my living room without taking up a lot of space. I really like the retro-inspired design because it gives the fountain more personality than a plain tabletop water feature. It can blend nicely with a variety of home décor styles.One of my favorite features about this fountain is the soothing sound of the cascading water. There’s something very relaxing about having the gentle sound of water in the background, and I find it creates a peaceful atmosphere.I also like that it’s not too big. It’s 10.5” size is large enough to make a statement but small enough that it doesn’t dominate the table where I put it. I think the size makes it particularly versatile for a living room, bedroom, office, entryway, or other area where someone may want a little extra visual interest.The fountain is made from strong resin material. That and its many rocks show just how durable this fountain is but it does make for some maintenance. The water needs to be changed every couple of weeks. The water needs to be poured out and the rocks need ti be cleaned and the ceramic wiped down. This is just necessary to prevent it from getting slimy. We’ve been running it for weeks and we’ve had zero leakage.The three fountain speeds and LED lights are wonderful features which allow me to personalize it according to what mood I’m in or ambience I desire.Overall, I think the Kingsyard 10.5" Tabletop Indoor Retro Cascading Water Fountain is a lovely addition for anyone who enjoys decorative water features and a peaceful home atmosphere. I’m happy with the combination of its attractive retro appearance, compact tabletop size, and relaxing cascading-water and light effect. It adds a cozy and tranquil touch to my space. I definitely recommend it to someone looking for a small indoor fountain that is both decorative and relaxing.

This fountain looks nice and works well. The pump can be turned down if you want. I found the lower settings didn’t move enough water to make it trickle audibly, but at the highest settings the pump can be heard, though not intrusively. The plastic of the fountain feels strong and won’t have you nervous about breaking. Same goes for the reservoir. The color and finish are nice and the fountain looks great. It was very easy to assemble but took some small adjustments to get it how I liked it. This is where it looses its one star. To adjust the pump you have to lift the fountain off the reservoir. If you’ve put the rocks on the fountain at least some will fall into the reservoir when you lift the fountain. I also had to make sure the fountain could drain where the water came to the bottom. At first it was occasionally spilling some water with the pump on full, but it didn’t make trickling sounds with the pump turned down. I pushed the fountain all the way away from that wall and placed a few rocks to help and it hadn’t been an issue since. I also with there was a switch on the cord so I didn’t have to plug it in and unplug it all the time. Overall though I like the fountain.

This tabletop water fountain is compact enough for a desk, shelf, or side table without taking up much space. It measures approximately 8.3 inches wide, 6.5 inches deep, and 8.9 inches tall, making it lightweight and easy to move around whenever you'd like to change its location.Assembly is very simple since there are only two main pieces: the water basin and the upper section with the three cascading bowls. The pump, LED light, and power cord all come as one connected unit. The LED plugs into the opening marked by an arrow inside the fountain, while the pump connects to the clear plastic tube before being submerged in the water-filled base. The only slightly awkward part is routing the attached cables through the gap between the upper section and the base, since the pump, light, and power cord are permanently attached together. Just be careful to keep the electrical cord itself out of the water.For some reason, I had convinced myself this fountain was cordless. Fortunately, the power cord is long enough to comfortably reach my power strip.The pump has an adjustable flow control, allowing you to choose between a gentle trickle and a stronger stream. Both the pump and the sound of the flowing water are pleasantly quiet. The included adapter is rated at 120V, 60Hz, and 0.05A, which works out to a maximum power consumption of only about 6 watts, so it doesn't appear to use much electricity.Unfortunately, that's also part of the problem. The fountain is... somewhat boring. The built-in LED only produces a plain white light. I was really hoping for color-changing LEDs, especially since I'm used to feng shui fountains with mist effects and cycling colors. Compared to those, this one feels rather plain and underwhelming.The included river rocks don't help much either. They're not particularly attractive, but the fountain also looks too bare without them. Using the rocks creates another annoyance because they can easily fall off when moving the fountain, and they have to be removed whenever it's time to change the water.The fountain certainly works as advertised. It's easy to assemble, quiet, lightweight, and doesn't consume much electricity. I just wish it offered a little more visual interest. Between the plain white lighting, unimpressive decorative rocks, and fairly simple appearance, it never quite creates the relaxing ambience I was hoping for.
