I got this to display on my bookshelf and it really looks quite nice next to books. The sound is high in pitch and resonates for quite some time. I felt like its a fair value given the cool aesthetic and good quality tone. Little hefty maybe around a pound or so. Quality overall is pretty nice but where the lip of the bowl attaches it has one side that's just a little rough. Not so rough to lose a start but noticeable when you hold it. Regardless quite happy with it!
This is one of those items that’s hard to appreciate until you actually try it. The bowl is nicely made with detailed engravings and comes with a wooden striker and stand.Once you get the motion right and run the rubber end around the rim, it produces a strong, steady tone that seems to go on forever. What I enjoyed most was how focused it makes you. You’re concentrating on the sound, listening to it build, and for a few minutes everything else just kind of disappears.It also makes a great conversation piece. It looks good sitting out on a shelf, and when people see it, they immediately want to hear it. Holding it in your hand while it rings is something you really have to experience for yourself.I can definitely see why people end up owning more than one of these. Different bowls, different sounds.
This is a lovely singing bowl.First, it's really nice looking. The metal looks good and arrived without any blemishes. The engraving on the bowl looks very clean and the image looks good. I like the stand that comes with it. It's a nice material and the bowl sits in it well and without any instability.The sounds it makes are really lovely. When struck, the bowl rings clearly. It "sings" nicely when you run the mallet (I'm not sure of the right name) around the inside and outside.This is so nice to have. I really enjoy both its appearance and its sound. Very calming.
