This clock is even more beautiful than it looks in the pictures! The colors are really vibrant and the picture has a three dimensional appearance, perhaps due to the texture of the glass that the face is made of. I love van Gogh's Starry Night, which is incorporated into the landscape scene. Only thing that concerns me just a bit is the method of hanging it...there is the one small plastic box on the back that contains the clockworks and battery, and is held to the clock by the single stem that passes through the center. There is a small hole on the back of the box which, I guess, is supposed to be placed over a screw on the wall. The clock isn't real heavy but I wouldn't call it lightweight either, so I'm going to find some other way to mount it on the wall...probably something I can attach very securely and safely to the back of the clock. It's too pretty to allow anything to happen to it!
