We had a clock that stopped keeping time and after multiple failed attempts at fixing it I was excited to happen upon this beautiful glass clock. It is as pictured in the listing which I should have paid a little closer attention to. The easiest way to display it would be using a plate display stand or something similar that cradles the clock so that it doesn't have to be wall mounted. The only place on the back of the clock to try to hang it is from an opening at the top of the clock mechanism/battery compartment area. I tried using that opening to hang the clock with a long straight nail, two types of picture hangers, and with added foam blocks but was unable to get the clock to hang flat. I also tried using an adhesive wall hook onto the glass and then tried all of the beforementioned methods to try to hang it from that as well, but it would still end up tilted with the battery pack area sticking out so much further than anything else on the back of the clock. With some further modifications I think I can still get it to hang on the wall which is what I intended to do when I purchased this but it's frustrating to not be able to hang this up as simply as most wall clocks. For now, I have it on a stand because I'm afraid of the adhesive failing if i try to use Velcro frame mounts and some wood blocks but that's probably what I'll end up trying. The clock itself is really pretty and seems to be keeping time well and runs silently but not being able to hang it up on the wall without it being flat on the wall is problematic.
