The matcha has a smooth, rich flavor with a nice umami taste and vibrant green color. It mixes well and tastes great both as a traditional matcha drink and in lattes. I think this is also going work well for making matcha dessert!
Love this Japanese matcha for iced lattes 🧊Ok so I wasn't planning on making iced lattes every single day but here we are lol. Pour over ice with almond milk and it's GORGEOUS. That green layer, the creaminess, the gentle sweetness — all there even cold. No bitterness, no chalkiness. Honestly it's becoming a problem how much I crave this now.I am planning to make some matcha cookies as well. Stay tuned.
Not the cheapest but worth every pennyThis gives me breathing room without worrying about running out. Consistent cup to cup — fine powder, dissolves instantly, deep flavor with a soft sweetness. Exactly the right amount for a real daily habit. First time buying this brand and will definitely be ordering again. When some Japanese brands charge the same price for a tiny 30g can, getting 100g of this feels like a steal.
A friend gave me a small tin of this matcha as a gift, and I liked it so much that I ended up looking for the brand on Amazon and getting the larger pouch for myself. The pouch is a great size for everyday use and honestly contains so much that it didn’t even all fit into my airtight jar—I’d probably need about one and a half to two jars to store the whole thing. The powder is really fine, the color is a beautiful bright green, and it smells fresh and clean, without that stale or old-tea smell. The flavor is really smooth and has a nice depth to it, and I especially like adding a little milk because it makes it even silkier and more mellow. It’s also very smooth on its own, though. I’ve been really enjoying it and am glad I found the larger size because it’s much more practical for everyday use.
