I love these solar lights and so far no issues with them illuminating.
Better than expected! These lights give my Japanese garden the perfect finishing touch. The brightness is amazing, and they stay lit throughout the night and are reliable. I also really like the golden color, it looks warm and beautiful, not cheap or overly bright. I’m very happy with them!
Bought 3 for tables in my year. They light up beautifully!
Perfect. I placed the lotus light with the bronze frog I just purchased. It sits perfectly in his tray and at night lights up the frog in a mystical way as to enhance the entire yard. I love the frog and the lotus. Both are worth every cent.
It's nice. It enhances the enchantment of my outdoor space. It is just as described.
The seller has done a great job of showing this lotus shaped solar light as it really appears in person. I’m happy to report that what you see is what you actually get. The bronzy gold colored petals span a good 10 inches across. The petals have a distressed look on the underside that blends with the natural environment. The glass globe unscrews easily from the base that contains the solar panel and LED light. It features automatic dusk to dawn lighting.I set the lotus light in direct sunlight for most of the day to charge it up. When it didn’t turn on at night, I realized the switch on the back was likely off but pressing it didn’t turn it on. I reread the instructions but there’s no mention of how the switch is supposed to work. It should be simple and straightforward but it’s not.I don’t like the mushy feel of the switch. It’s covered in rubbery material with ‘on’ printed next to one side and ‘off’ on the other as if the switch should slide but it doesn’t slide. I tried pressing harder on one side then the other which didn’t work either. I tried to toggle the switch in the middle but no go. I mushed it around for a while and it finally lit up but I have no idea what I did to achieve that result. In the dark of night the light is piercingly bright when looking directly at it, but the crackle texture of the globe deflects some of the glare. The crackle also creates a light pattern that fans out from the globe onto the metal petals and surroundings. It’s a lovely effect. It looks nice just sitting on the ground in our wooded yard. It would also look great as a centerpiece or placed on a porch or deck.Solar outdoor lighting is the way to go. There’s just the initial cost and free light forever more. I still have solar lights outside in the weather that keep on working for over five years now. That’s what I call a good value proposition and this solar light has a decorative flair in addition to being practical and cost effective. Even with the fluky switch I think it’s worth it.
