This is a beautiful matcha set, and its boxing and presentation are well executed and make it an excellent option for gift giving.The ceramic pieces in the set are beautiful. The glaze is a beautiful shade of peachy pink which is evenly applied and looks much better in person than in the listing photos. The flower decals are well positioned and expertly applied to offer a lovely visual aesthetic. The two smaller decals just below the rim in the bowl's interior are a particular delight. The slight scallop design of the bowl is a nice design element adding to the visual appeal and making the piece more elegant in appearance. The pouring lip is well formed. The whisk holder, while without the scallop design, mirrors the bowl in color with one exterior flower decal. Both pieces are smooth on the bottom so there is little concern for surface damage, however the included mat eliminates any worries.The additional pieces consisting of whisk, spoon, and strainer, are equally well made. The bamboo spoon is well shaped, smooth, and has a most charming five petaled flower securely mounted near the end of its handle which was unexpected and brought a smile to my face.The price at time of order was under $38. Taking into consideration the quality of the pieces and their presentation worthy of gifting I would consider this set to be an excellent value.
