This matcha kit is gorgeous and has everything you need to make a proper cup. The bowl feels substantial with a smooth glazed interior that’s easy to clean, and the whisk is finely crafted, giving a nice frothy matcha every time. I also like the thoughtful touches like the scoop, sifter, whisk holder, and tea towel, they make the whole process feel special. The set looks elegant on display too, so it’s as decorative as it is functional. Perfect for anyone who loves matcha or wants a stylish, all-in-one kit.
This matcha set is so unique. The black glass bowl gives it such a chic, modern look that feels very different from traditional matcha sets. It’s very pretty in person and instantly adds extra style and flair to your setup. The size of the bowl is generous, and the entire kit feels thoughtfully put together. The quality really stands out. The glass feels durable and scratch resistant, the glaze is smooth and easy to clean, and the bamboo whisk is well crafted. Everything feels sturdy and well made, not flimsy. The stainless steel sifter is a great addition and really enhances the overall “baking ability” of the set. It allows you to sift the matcha finely, similar to sifting flour for baking, which helps create a smoother, clump-free blend every time. For the price, this complete kit offers impressive value, combining beautiful design, solid craftsmanship, and practical functionality in one well curated set.
This is a decent match set. It came nicely packaged and could easily be given as a gift. I am not a huge fan of using tit though because the glass is extremely thin. Like very fine crystal thin. It feels super fragile and adds anxiety to my matcha experience rather than being a relaxing ritual. The whisk seems well made, the scoop works perfectly and the included cloth is very nice quality as well as being very pretty. I just wish they had used a thicker glass.
I ordered this just out of curiosity. I've actually never had matcha tea before, but it's functionality is secondary to the beauty of the set. Let me tell you a little about my experience. It came not in a box, but in an envelope. I thought for sure it was broken, but surprisingly it wasn't even chipped. This is a testament to the quality of the set that it can survive being thrown around in the back of a truck and be jostled by every pothole within 30 miles.Even more than that, the bowl itself is absolutely gorgeous. It has a pattern of flowers on the sides. The top is not flat, but more closer to a scalloped edge. It's much more beautiful in person than any picture shows of it.The glass elements are a smokey grey in color and do not have any cloudiness or imperfection to be seen.Even the mat that comes with the set is very pretty.I tried simulating the process with some powdered sugar and some water just to experience the process as I didn't have any matcha powder in the house. it was almost a meditative experience, gently swirling the warm water with the whisk. I really appreciated the opportunity to be in the moment, just me and some sugar water.Even if you don't drink matcha tea, this will make a nice conversation piece in the middle of your dining table (where mine currently happens to be).
