I really like this matcha, it’s good quality for the price. You don’t need a bunch to get a good matcha taste. Definitely has a good umami note to it as well as a nutty flavor. My favorite matcha I’ve tried this year.
I’ve really been enjoying this matcha. The color is a beautiful bright green, and the flavor is smooth with a nice umami taste without being too bitter. It mixes well with water and also works great for making matcha lattes. I like that it comes in a sealed tin, which helps keep it fresh. The quality feels noticeably better than some of the matcha I’ve tried before, and a little goes a long way.
In my opinion this is the best-designed matcha packaging on the market — deep black tin with gold Japanese calligraphy that feels refined and artful. But what REALLY surprised me is that the matcha inside actually outshines the packaging. Smooth, creamy, full-bodied with genuine depth and no bitterness. Most premium-looking products disappoint once you open them. This one does the opposite.
I love this matcha, vibrant green and wonderful taste. High quality matcha from Kyoto, which is where you want most ceremonial grade to be sourced. Organic is a plus! Makes beautiful lattes. Price is average, maybe a little high for quantity you receive. Overall excellent matcha.
