Fantastic matcha!!! Absolutely worth the price for an exquisite, delicious, high-quality Matcha. This very finally stone ground powder has an impressive vibrant green color. Upon opening it, I was immediately taken in by the delicious cocoa aroma and freshness. It blends so well and produced a fluffy microfoam using a basic chasen. As a thicker Koicha, I did NOT experience any astringency or bitterness. As a thinner Usucha, it was tasty on its own without any additives. It’s very umami forward with tasty nutty notes which I prefer. As an oat milk matcha latte, I was pleasantly pleased with how delicious this truly is. After the initial tasting, I added a little honey instead of my usual maple syrup as I did not want anything to overpower its natural sweetness. Then I got fancy with whipped cream and finishing sugar on top and it became a full on sweet treat! I’ve tried at least 13 different Matcha powders this year and discovered Samidori is my preferred cultivar. This Fkrō Ceremonial Reserve is by far THEE BEST and worth every penny. The search is over, I’ve found my new favorite❣️🍵❣️
I’ve tried many of the matchas that are offered here, from the really premium ceremonial, to the ones that are more café and everyday use. This one specifically stood out to me and I have ordered it once a week for the past two months. You can get about 8 cups of Matcha if you make it Americano with about 5g of Matcha. I tend to like mine Americano, even though I am lactose intolerant and enjoy it with oat milk. The umami flavor really pulls through and the oat milk just cuts it.I did have to stop buying this one because the price just continues to go up. I don’t mind paying between $26 and $28 for each 1.06 ounce. I do mind however, paying $34.I also noticed that this past order that I had is not as vibrant green, which it normally is. I hope that the price comes down a little bit and then I will come back to purchase it. In the meantime, it’s happy hunting for other premium ceremonial matches.
Very good matcha for the price. It feels like good quality, great green color and is very creamy. The flavor is nutty, toasted and smells like chocolate. However, is more on the sweet side. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a good high standard matcha at great price with mild flavor.
I’ve tried so many popular brands but this one is a real hit for me. Great flavor great quality!
One of the best Matcha I have tried. The nutty umami is there and this blend very smooth.
Very nice and a smooth taste.
I’ve been really impressed with the FKRO Ceremonial Reserve Matcha Samidori. You can immediately tell it’s high quality from the vibrant green color and ultra-fine texture—it blends effortlessly and feels incredibly smooth. The flavor is what really stands out: it has a rich umami depth with a natural sweetness. It feels very refined and balanced, making it perfect for traditional matcha or a more elevated latte. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a ceremonial-grade matcha that tastes clean, smooth, and genuinely premium.
This felt like the first time I truly tried matcha. The quality is so obvious form the first sip. I usually add milk or coconut water to my matcha, but this one I just had with hot water and it was really an experience. The color is so rich and that is reflected in the flavor. This is really high quality, and I want to savor it but also can’t stop drinking it. This feels like the most authentic matcha I’ve ever had. Recommended for sure!
