Tastes like matcha so if you don't like that flavor will need to add to it. Feel more energetic and not so bloated since drinking this as hot tea with a little honey. No weight loss yet but feeling fuller.
I was really excited to try this Matcha, hoping that it would be a good substitute for my afternoon coffee. I followed the instructions and initially used a small whisk to mix the water and Matcha, but decided that it didn’t seem smooth enough, so I ended up using a little hand frother, which certainly seemed to work much better. I put the matcha into ice and whole milk. Upon initial taste, it was grassy and slightly bitter. I think the bitterness I got was probably from the lemon balm but it was also much more grassy than I would like. I had to add a little sugar to make it more palatable, but even then this is not something that I would choose to drink as I did not enjoy the taste. I did like that the serving was small - about 3/4 cup of liquid so that at least it goes quickly if you don’t want it to linger. I’ve certainly had worse Matcha that was more grassy than this, but I have had really good creamy slightly sweet Matcha before and that’s because they were young leaves and really high-quality. Based on the grassiness of this, I don’t think it’s the best quality so buy this at your own risk.
