I like matcha that’s nutty bold and lots of umami. But I like to try them all if I could. Anyways this is 7.5/10 for me.
Umami and naturally sweet! I ran out of my tin of matcha and needed another one fast. After reading the reviews I decided to get the “Saga no Mukashi” matcha. Right off the bat, I knew this was high quality matcha, the color was perfect and the matcha lattes I’ve been making with it so far have turned out really rich and creamy. I usually add maple syrup/honey for sweetener but this one is so good already I didn’t even need it! So far so good, will def purchase again!
Pretty good comparable to my $40 favorite matcha has the right color I just prefer my matchas a little more on the bright/sweet side and this is a tad deeper (maybe more umami) and just a hint of more bitter but don’t let that dissuade your purchase all in all I would say it’s extremely good and the pricing is just right

Love it very smooth and silky foam it smells and tastes really good, like creamy and sweet at the same time.
This is a very creamy matcha, if you are looking for full on umami then this isn't it imo. But this is the highest quality for the price. And if you are making lattes i do think there are better ones for that since it's a lot hard to feel the creaminess.BUT i love to drink this straight and the texture is like no other. I love this matcha and the taste is still amazing don't get me wrong since i like the more earthy/grassy flavor personally. However, I would give this 7 stars if they have an option to bulk buy a kilo for half a kilo of this matcha. until then i am sticking with my 5 star review.
SO delicious but so expensive for the size. If you are looking for very good quality matcha and price is not an issue, look no further!
Excellent matcha powder! It tastes smooth with hints if nuttiness and only mildly bitter. I used it to make matcha latte. I'm not expert when it comes to matcha but I think this is a great choice, even for beginners getting into matcha.
