I make cold latte with this tea, taste great and blends into powders.
i'm new to matcha, so i was skeptical, but this is good! i like using it to make frappes and its delicious. i like that this brand is sugar free so i can sweeten with stevia. a serving is 2 scoops, and my resulting drink has plenty of flavor with this.my only suggestion is that i wish the caffeine content was printed on the tin somewhere, for those of us who keep track of that sort of thing.
I’m a bit spoiled having ordered matcha directly from Japan in the past. Understand that every tea farm is different so you will get different results depending on how it’s harvested.I’ve tried this tea a number of ways, preparing it the traditional way and also the quick version. For the taste, it’s not worth taking the time to prepare it the traditional way. Using the included scoop is the perfect amount for 8oz of water. Passing it through a sieve refines it and makes it blend very easily with little residue.The tea is very strong and flavorful but not nuanced. It’s not bad but I’ve had better. I’d say it’s good as a daily tea but splurge on something better for a special treat.For the price, you get a reasonably good matcha that lasts.
