The combination of the sifter, scoop, and spoon covers all the bases for a lump-free, perfectly measured drink. It’s a thoughtful, practical set that looks much more expensive than it is. If you know someone who loves green tea, this is the perfect way to help them level up their technique.

I got the MONOJOY Electric Matcha Whisk Set 4 PCS because I drink espresso/coffee, and felt I would use each piece. I use the scoop almost every day, and I was using the frother every day until it stopped working. I got it in August, so I only used it for 3 months before it quit working. At the time of ordering, it was $20, and not a good value for how long it lasted.

Slightly different than pictured as the one I received was not dishwasher safe when assembled. It doesn't have an easily detached whisk. However, cleaning it has not been a problem. Just a little brushing with soapy water has gotten off even yesterday's forgotten residue. I use this for far more than matcha. It also works quite well to mix some powdered medications with water because it can whip so fast. I find the handle to be a good size considering it has to fit 2 AA batteries. The whisk is long enough to use in a traditional matcha bowl as well as a widemouth quart mason jar with a slightly higher grip. I use rechargeable AAs with no problem. The shape of the whisk is fairly typical for a milk frother. It just works and there's no reason to change that. The included stand is handy - it would be very difficult to put down while keeping the business end off the counter otherwise. The stand is probably to allow it to drip dry but I have just let it spin at full speed for a few seconds to dry it.The speed is slightly controllable! Pushing down on the top edge of the button is slightly slower than pushing down evenly or on the part closest to vertical. I found the variability useful for the end part of whisking matcha in particular. When you want it to slow down so you don't fling it across the kitchen!I think that it doesn't entirely replace the traditional tools, but it can also be seen as a way for someone who can't whip fast or it causes pain to still enjoy things that need it. The vibration traveling up from this tool is far less painful for me than an enthusiastic rolling-whipping motion as chado prescribes.It comes with some nice bonus goodies, though I would also buy it without them for the same price. The spoon and scoop are appropriately sized and it's always nice to have an extra strainer. The seafoam/mint green color works well in my kitchen - it's not so saturated that it stands out despite most things not being green but it's a gentle, cheerful pastel that reminds me of spring. Perfectly appropriate.The other factor is that you don't have to replace it every few months depending on wear and your tolerance for food safety. The bamboo whisks are feats of handicraft but I will likely keep my latest artisan one for special occasions and this electric whisk is my daily driver.

I mostly got this set for the electric whisk which works quite well. It has a double whisk on the end, so it mixes very well. Easy to rinse off. And I love that it has a stand to keep it on! The small strainer is decent, VERY small. The wooden spoon is very rough, not a fan of it. Could get a splinter easily, so don’t put it in your mouth. It’s a decent set, the electric whisk is the best part for sure.

I don't actually drink matcha, but every piece in this set is useful for other purposes! The whisk I use for making my powdered bone broth, protein powders, and hot chocolate drink mixes. I think the double coil on the end actually mixes better than the frothers with a single coil. You do have to provide your own batteries though (AA). I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the little "matcha scoop", that looks like a little hockey stick, but literally the next day I discovered a use - it's perfect for getting mini muffins out of the pan in one piece! Photo attached. Worked perfectly. The strainer is great for straining out the seeds while squeezing lemons and the little wooden spoon could be used for just about anything.Each piece feels like good quality and I put everything (except for the frother whisk) in the dishwasher and they came out great. It all comes in a nice little gift-able box too, if you're looking to get it as a housewarming present or something it would work well for that. Overall I'm really pleased with this cute little set and would recommend it!
