This is a good matcha. I didn't find the taste to be better than cafe's but I do think it is very good. The texture is very fine, powdery and mixes up good. The container is small. Now a side note: The can came in an evelope and the can had dents in it. I don't think we should pay for a shipping membership and then our items arrive in poor condition. This has been an issue with most of my deliveries lately. Shipping and delivery could really use some work and improvement
tried several different matchas, this one is my favorite yet. 10 bucks for 2.5 oz and it foams up extremely well during whisk. great taste too
Nothing bad to say about this matcha powder. It’s a great price and it tastes good! Seems good quality. Good value for people who are starting to make matcha lattes!
Very good quality! It is a little smaller than I expected but I think it’s priced well for the quality/benefits of the matcha. Tastes great! I drink it most mornings!
It's a really beautiful green, and it's not bitter at all. Not the best matcha I've ever used, but it's still good, and so far everyone I've had try it has enjoyed it. You also get a lot of matcha for the price, which is worth it if you're on a budget. Would get again!
Not sure why there are negative reviews on this product. This is delicious and nor bitter at all. Only a small amount is needed for a coffee sized cup and it must be thoroughly whisked. A frother is helpful. Perhaps it would be helpful for the manufacturer to provide a tiny scoop or directions for preparation so that people don't add too much to their drink.
It is an excellent quality matcha, the aroma is super good and fresh, it is not bitter, it tastes super good, mixes very well, it does not create lumps, it has a lot of quality honestly for the price it has, the size is excellent I have a month since I bought it and it is worth its cost.
this matcha is okay which is expected for its price. it’s not the usual authentic japanese matcha. it’s made in china.it is a bit better than i expected! other matcha powders are pretty expensive and it shows in the taste. this matcha did surprisingly have a nice green color. it was darker than i expected and didn’t have a yellow hue which i don’t like. it seems fresh. i don’t know if it gave me energy. i am currently drinking some in the evening and i don’t feel much of a difference as i type this.i used about two heaping spoonfuls and a half (not really a spoonful. yk that little wooden scoop.. it’s called a chashaku) and the taste wasn’t that strong but maybe i used too much water when i mixed it. if the taste were stronger i would give this 4 or 5 stars. i like a noticeable matcha taste. i would say it’s not very strong at all but i’ll take it for this price if i’m on a budget. i paired it with torani almond syrup and i feel like i can taste the syrup more and i didn’t even add that much.like i said, i’ll take it for this price or cheaper but i wouldn’t pay more than $15 for it. i would buy again if i’m looking for something less expensive. but if not, i’d say it’s better to splurge a bit if you’re picky about the taste strength !
