This mat is exactly as I expected it to be - except for one tiny, minor detail. The color in the pictures was almost Navy Blue, but what arrived was more of a Royal Blue; which is pretty, but was hoping for the darker color. Otherwise, it couldn’t be better. It was a little hard to unroll, so I put large “Arkansas rocks” on the corners and a couple around the edges, about half way, on each side. You’re right, I was thinking “outside” the box. I needed something to “bridge” from one side to the other outside. Not doing Yoga, but it’s great to walk on and the large road base gravel underneath can hardly be felt. Kids can get from the car to the walkway without issues with the large roadbase underneath.It’s nice and thick, so could be used for many things, including Yoga! lol!!! The outside weather MAY reduce the mats useful life, but so far doing great, and I think it will last a very long time.So if you like to “think outside the box” you should give this a try! I can think of all kinds of ways that I could use it! You WON’T be sorry!!!
Absolutely perfect mat. Tough-my puppy’s nails haven’t made the smallest scratch-but also just the right balance between soft and firm. Arrived in perfect condition as advertised. Easy to roll and store. I wish I had found this one this size years ago and that I had space for another! And BONUS! No stinky smell!!! Yay! Amazing deal.
