This is by far the best-tasting matcha that I have had so far.
The tea is good but the zip lock pouch doesn’t work at all.
This matcha tea is so pure! Not sure you can find this high quality organic matcha tea for this price anywhere else.I drink my matcha both, cold nd hot, and to me is a treat, not an everyday thing.I enjoy every sip of a great matcha but not easy to find a great one like this.Start by the bright green color🤩🤩🤩 that’s where you know you are in the right track! Then, the unparalleled smell and finish with that flavor with its hint of sweetness!!!Glorious! That’s what this matcha tea is!
Admittedly I have very little experience with matcha tea, and have tried it only a few times. I followed the directions carefully and made sure the water was at the exact temperature required to whisk the tea, but it didn't entirely dissolve. There were lots of little floating sand-like grains in the final product. I don't know if these affected the taste or not, or if it really matters that they failed to dissolve. In any event, I initially did not care for the flavor. I would have described it as somehow too earthy for my liking and not my idea of tea, but I wanted to give it a chance so I continued to follow the instructions and make it in several different ways as indicated. I never resolved the problem (if it truly is one) of the little grains that failed to dissolve, but I did begin to like it quite a bit. I would consider it an acquired taste, maybe like asparagus! I kept thinking "well, I'll try again" and making another cup, then eventually I realized I was making another cup because I craved the delicious taste of it. What a surprise! I would now heartily recommend this delicious tea, and suggest to those who initially don't like it - give it a chance. You may be as surprised as I was.
I’ve been drinking matcha for years, and Yu Tea Organic Matcha Powder is easily one of the best I’ve tried at this price point. As someone who enjoys a morning cup of matcha instead of coffee, I was looking for something smooth, non-bitter, and packed with energy-boosting antioxidants—and this one delivered.Taste & QualityThe bright green color immediately showed that this was fresh and high quality (low-grade matcha tends to be yellowish or dull green). When whisked, it produced a nice froth, and the texture was incredibly smooth—no gritty residue or excessive clumping. The taste was slightly sweet, umami-rich, and not overpoweringly bitter, which is exactly what you want in ceremonial-grade matcha.Energy & FocusOne of the biggest reasons I switched to matcha over coffee is that it provides a clean, jitter-free energy boost. This matcha kept me focused for hours, thanks to the combination of caffeine and L-theanine, which promotes calm alertness rather than a sudden caffeine crash. I also noticed that I stayed hydrated compared to when I used to drink coffee.Preparation & VersatilityThis matcha dissolves effortlessly in hot water when whisked properly. I’ve used it in different ways:✔ Traditional matcha tea (whisked with hot water)✔ Iced matcha latte with oat milk and honey (delicious!)✔ Added to smoothies for an antioxidant boost✔ Even tried it in baking, and it worked great!Value for Money For a ceremonial-grade, first-harvest matcha, the price is quite reasonable compared to premium Japanese brands. You get 50 servings in one pouch, which lasts me over a month with daily use. While not the cheapest, it’s absolutely worth it for the quality.Final Verdict: Highly RecommendedIf you’re looking for a high-quality, smooth, and vibrant matcha that provides a clean energy boost without jitters, Yu Tea Organic Matcha is a fantastic choice. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned matcha drinker, you won’t be disappointed!Would I repurchase? Absolutely! 😊
AMAZING!This is my very understated and very candid review and I do not work for this company.I had never heard of Matcha before this was recommended to me. This is something that I never would have purchased or known about and now I'm telling everyone that I know about Matcha. Maybe it's just my experience, but this is something that is really unique. The flavor, the smell and this calm energy.I rarely drink tea or coffee, but many years ago someone had suggested that I look into drinking green tea. I never got around to looking into it and then this showed up so I decided to give it a try. I'm so, so, so glad that I did and I'm really serious. This can be mixed with cold water and it has this unusual and very unique taste that I just love. A few hours after my first glass I had this desire to drink more. I thought that was "extremely unusual" so I did some research and ended up going down the rabbit hole on a really deep dive. Maybe ten hours (so far) of deep serious research into the history of Matcha, where it comes from, how it's made, the ingredients and I'm only just beginning.Amazon has some restrictions about health claims and benefits in reviews. I think that this is appropriate and wise of Amazon. I also think that anyone reading this review would be best served by doing their own research. I've literally spent hours on this and have learned about other such products and have ordered them and begun using them.If you haven't tried Matcha, then I hope that you try it and enjoy it as much as I do. If you are a Matcha lover already, then I have nothing to compare this with, but I can tell you that for me, this particular brand is absolutely wonderful!
