These bolsters ship compressed but fully expand to provide firm support and hold their shape. The fabric is soft and luxurious. The purple color matches the photo. I did not detect any odor and I have a sensitive nose. Good value. I bought a second set.
These bolsters are amazing they plumped up about an hour after unpacking them. They are really comfortable and add support to your yoga practice. The size is amazing they don't take up much room for storing after your yoga. I love that they both have handles on them it makes it easier moving them around. So far they are holding up well.
These are decent yoga bolsters, but they’re not solid enough to sit on without compressing. Unlike the picture, which shows someone sitting on the rectangular bolster without it flattening, I sank down when I tried (I’m 5'3" and about 158 lbs). Lighter users—around 110 lbs—might find it more supportive when sitting on.The bolsters are firm yet soft and comfortable, but I was very disappointed with the packaging. They come compressed in a vacuum-sealed bag, which contorts the foam and causes severe wrinkles in the material (visible in my photos). These wrinkles are difficult to remove and require a high-powered clothes steamer; using an iron could damage the fabric. The compression also warped the foam—my round bolster now has a noticeable hunch that hasn’t corrected itself even after a month.Additionally, the round bolster is more oval than circular, with higher sides and flatter areas. I’m not sure if this is a defect or intentional, but it can actually provide variable lift depending on which side you use. Overall, they are comfortable for back yoga exercises, but only time will tell if they maintain their shape, firmness and functionality.
Item arrived in a small, airtight package, and I felt a mistake had been made. Then, I opened the package and was surprised at the firmness and size of the bolsters. Highly recommend, and would buy again. Exactly what I hoped it would be.
