Love this mat, it’s very large which I like . It isn’t super heavy to carry. Doesn’t slip , and has plenty of cushion. Great mat for the price.
Mat itself is good quality and I like the size. So at best I will give it a 3 star because rest of what I wanted for is described below.What I dont like is it is hard to roll up. Especially by yourself and I am an in shape 36 your old man. Took me 10 minutes of struggling to put it back in its carry bag. Don't have time for that!The two straps that came with it or not very strong to hold the mat once its rolled up which causes it to become too big for carrying/storage bag.If you want a mat to just keep out all the time and not put away then I guess buy it but I will not be purchasing this again.I am going to have to purchase better more secure straps. This one honestly need 4 good ones not 2 junk ones it come with.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NEW 6X4 YOGA MAT!! I received it yesterday 4/11/25 and I immediately opened it up. Packaging wasn't great due to minor cuts/breaks in the box it came in, BUT my yoga mat was thankfully intact! Once I opened it it came in a yoga mat bag, and it was wrapped in clear plastic as well. I laid the mat on my floor to air it out and straighten it as much as possible. It has a SLIGHT plastic-y smell but nothing crazy and it is what it is. Once you air it out and begin to use it daily, that will go away. Anyhow, it checked ALL THE BOXES FOR ME! Today(4/12/25) was my first day to use it.1. Thickness is super great! It is 1/2 an inch as advertised.2. Amazing Grip/Trac. When jumping, and all types of bare foot, standing exercises, NO SLINDING! When doing floor exercises like; yoga poses, etc SUPER hand and feet grip(not once did I slip and slid).3. I have very sensitive elbow and knee skin that I need a soft and cushion-y and comfortable type of material and I NEVER felt pain/harsh chaffing on my skin while doing any sort of exercise position where my knees or elbows were used.4. Mat does NOT SLIDE AT ALL. I have wood floors and an area rug. It only slightly moved because I was doing rotation jumps and since my mat is half on the floor and half on the area rug(that's the only reason it moved a bit).I am 4"11 and for me it is a great size. The advertised pics do not do it justice because it looks bigger than it is. I made sure to measure it with a measuring tape before buying to kind of imaging how big it would be.To get a better idea, It is 2 regular size yoga mats in one.It took me about 3 months to decide to order this one. I had been comparing prices, reviews, material, and thickness and I finally found it. I will not be using shoes with mine because I want to take carr of it as much as possible.I have attached 4 pics depicting the entire mat, material close up Pic to get an idea of what it looks like and how it might feel, and pic of the thickness.
