Seems like a decent mat but I had to return, the folded up size did not fit in my wheeled carry on
I bought this for two trips. A cruise and a European tour. I was very please with this mat and it got a lot of use. It would be great if it was more compact but to keep the thickness that would be physically impossible, I think. I do think it was not “grippy” enough for some yoga positions when you are a tad sweaty, downward dog as an example my hands would slide forward, this is the only reason I dropped a star. Overall it was great. The mats on cruise ships are always old and tore up, this allowed me my own mat and could avoid the poorly cleaned or cared for cruise ship ones, which also is more sanitary. While in Europe I was able to workout in various spots thanks to this mat as not many hotels have gyms or space for mat work in them. Most hotels I could find a spot in my room to do it thanks to this mat, especially when many had no gym. I had to unpack and pack it up every couple days for nearly a month and it held up great!
