Exactly what I was hoping it would be. The quality is excellent: sturdy construction, beautiful appearance, and the hinges lock in nice and rigid for a stable platform. It's an exotic wood with a rustic finish, dark stained but still showing the rough grain. The texture is grainy, so you can't use it as a writing desk without something to back up your paper.Bottom line, this looks and feels really nice, and is well worth the price. I got the large size, and glad I did. Exactly like the photo, exactly as described. Simple and beautiful!
Easy to put together and very sturdy
The table is a nice one, but I think I paid almost $20-$30 more than what the other sellers are selling for on amazon
I ordered the largest one based on other reviews. I like it for sitting on the floor to have tea or write. It was originally intended for sitting in bed, but the large size is just too high. I will keep this one but may consider the smaller one to see if the 9" high is better. Overall: really cute and seems well made. Like it alot.
I bought a large one and it fits for one person. It is very light and product quality is good. I read my book and sometimes my children do their homework on this table. All you need is a cushion with back support.
I got this table in the largest size. I am using it to floor sit while I work on the computer, have a meal on my own, etc. It is just the right size to fit my laptop and a drink without being cramped. I would not have liked the smaller size. The height is just right for me. I can sit on a cushion and fit my knees underneath, and I do not need to stoop to reach my work. I am about 5’ 4” for reference. The construction seems sturdy, yet it is not heavy to fold up the legs and move. I think this could also work as a TV tray or lap tray for working on the computer or reading in bed.
