They look just like the photo. I'm using them in lieu of folding doors for a closet rather than on a window so I can't really comment on their light filtering abilities, but the fabric is pretty light -- if you are looking for room darkening curtains, these aren't for you. Unfortunately, I foolishly failed to measure my closet correctly so they are not wide enough for my purpose, I'm very sad they don't make them in wider sizes. Don't be me: measure carefully!You will need to wash and iron these on arrival as they come tightly pressed in shrink plastic so they arrive wrinkly and musty. But that's to be expected with real cotton.

I work from home and don't have the luxury of a private bedroom as my kids are still with me. I work in my front room and I get tired of telling the kids when I have an "on camera" teams meeting so they don't walk out in their underwear. I bought these curtains and we agreed when they are closed, they are NOT to come out in the front living room. I love "bohemian" decor and these were the best purchase ever! There are so many color options but these fit my color and style scheme and I just cannot be any happier! I bought a curtain rod and put them up tonight and I'm in love. BUY THEM!!
