These wind chimes sound really nice and I like them on their own merit but I can also say they are very sturdy. To get optimal wind, I put them up on flagpole on the back end of my house, so they are really up in the air. The other day, in Idaho, we had totally unexpected summer storms that Uunleashed rivers of hail and floods that were pouring into people's downstairs windows and lightning and thunder, gale force winds. And I forgot to take the wind chimes down. They survived the whole damn thing and it went overnight, several hours. The wind chimes still look and sound great. That's the best testimony I can give you. I would definitely buy again.
