Not a full kit , as you need to spend extra money to purchase needles separately. That sucked 😞
This mala, once assembled, is heavy and beautiful. Easy to assemble. Applying the knots between each bead is relaxing and meditative. Love it!
This was a really easy project to complete, and I had a lot of fun making this, but some of the beads had holes that were too small for the thread. It wasn't a huge deal since there were plenty with holes large enough, and I ended up with beads left over after making both a necklace and bracelet, but I had to keep trimming the thread and wetting the end to keep the ends from fraying and then not even fitting in the larger holes.
I would highly recommend a beading needle and watch a YouTube video. I watched Sarita Shrestha’s how to videos and making this was such a beautiful experience. I made the necklace. I haven’t made the bracelet yet, but I’m sure it will be just as gorgeous. They feel like real tigers eye and the tassel is super nice quality. It did come with written instructions however I’m not good at following those even with the pictures. Honestly I love this. I will be purchasing more of these kits. Thank you!!
I love this kit! The instructions are easy to follow, and the materials are very good quality. I especially love the tiger eye beads, which are beautiful and sometimes hard to find.
Fun project. Definitely for adults. And you have to tie a lot of knots. The instructions are a little lacking. But really it’s fine you put a bead on and you tie a knot then keep going.
Beautiful stones, especially for the price. Such a nice kit with everything included. If you were to buy this as a finished mala necklace with these tiger eye stones it would be so much more expensive. Nicely packed. Get a “beading tweezer” to help tie the knots between the beads. It is not as easy to make perfect up close knots between the beads as you might think. It takes practice and the beading tweezer really helped. The tassel that comes with it is lovely as well. Just a great value!
