This is a great fountain. I’m enjoying it very much except I think the lower larger bowl is a bit short in diameter. The reason I think that is that the fountain needs to be refilled everyday, so far. I think the water may be splashing out. Also, it is going to be difficult to clean the pump due to very tight pump access. All in all I still think it was a great deal and a pretty fountain. (..and I do have it set on the lowest pump setting.)
It looks like a stone finish, tall and delicate, very simple to assemble and install! Love the sound, not too loud.
I got this to replace what I think s an older version of the same fountain (which I got at auction, so I'm only guessing). This one is a lighter weight, but heavy enough to be stable, and easy to assemble, and works fine. The pump itself has a flow regulator, but at least on mine, the regulator either doesn't work, or the change in flow is minimal. Because of this, the water flow is vigorous enough to cause excessive splashing from the high volume, which means I have to fill the fountain more often than I should. If I am unable to diagnose the problem, I will just replace the pump with the one from the old fountain. A note to others, the reason I replaced the old one was because I did not bring it under cover last winter, and apparently moisture got into small cracks and expanded as it froze, causing big chunks to fall off. I'd not thought this would happen with resin, but it did. I am delighted to find that the new fountain comes apart in one more place that the old one, which will make it easier to carry to the barn come winter. One lives, and learns.
