Pretty little Buddha to set on a shelf or table small and light weight
I wanted a statue that wasn't too big or too small. But I wanted it smaller than most of the Buddha statues I've seen. This one was perfect. I keep my Buddha on my altar where he sits there in perpetual meditation. It is nice and heavy and solid. The cat shouldn't be able to knock the Buddha down. And if he does, I think the Buddha can take a fall with no problem.
Love this statue! It was smaller than I had thought, the pics made it look bigger for some reason, but I was pleasantly surprised at the height and weight (it's very lightweight!). Very easy to travel with. The vintage dated dark colored look was what I wanted. I have it on my desk underneath a lamp next to a bamboo plant for a calming effect. It has a heavy stone look with three felt pads on the bottom to prevent scratching surfaces. Be careful when removing the barcode sticker on bottom of statue when unpacking as the sticky part ripped off some of the gray paint coating on the bottom, but its no big deal since the bottom is covered when placed on a hard surface. Also, don't knick the statue on any hard surfaces as it may ding some of the colored coating off. Otherwise, I'm happy with this purchase!
