I love this salt lamp bulb! I used to buy more “traditional” Himalayan pink sea salt lamps, the ones that are very heavy and look like huge salt rocks. They have always broken eventually in the past, however, and have to be thrown out, much to my dismay.This light bulb has been the best solution to this problem! I am getting all the benefits of the pink sea salt, the warm rosy glow I love, and I believe it’s helping me heal from my breast tumor surgery in some way by cleansing the energy of my room.My 10 month old kitten also seems comforted by it, as she never leaves my bedside especially while I have my light on.Wonderful romantic mood lighting, not too bright, but just right. Great for anyone who identifies as a highly sensitive person or who has sensory issues and sensitivities to things such as bright lights.Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

This is ok, has Some issues!

I really like this! My aunt had one while I was growing up so I thought I'd get one as I suffer from sleep-insomnia! This has worked greatly I r me on a low setting. However, the higher settings keep me awake. Another issue is the I have to turn the little turn in thing, it take forever for it to turn on then I tunes on really fast and makes a loud click sound! Other than those two problems this is a great product and I love it! I recommend it to my sister who too suffers from sleep-insomnia and she's yet to get one!

An outstanding venture in balmy, beautiful light.

Disclaimer: this thing doesn't "release negative ions into the air in order to purify it," as the Internet may have told you.And frankly, I don't care that it doesn't - nor should you.I've had this bad boy for about two weeks now.The lamp itself produces a warm, subtle ambiance that adds a touch of nobility to any room lucky enough to have it hang out in. It's dial-adjustable, which is PERFECT for matching the external light level (I prefer to have it on all day, so I dim it during the day and crank it up at night). The shape itself is aesthetically pleasing as well; it comes off as a raw, almost "dirty" crystal... but in a good way; a rustic way.The only two POTENTIAL issues that I can tell are as follows:1. The lamp itself is quite noticeably heavy. Even a minor fall would likely be catastrophic. Do not stretch the cord beyond its means.2. The color of the lamp changes with the thickness of the salt. It does not appear to have a perfectly homogeneous distribution, so certain parts of the shape will never be as translucent or opaque as others. For me, that isn't an issue, because I like the color no matter what. A simple turn of the device will allow the user to see exactly what they'd like to see. I'm only mentioning it because some folks are pickier than others.Extremely satisfied by this item and its price. I definitely recommend it for anybody that's looking for a soft lighting solution. I use it at my computer desk (the one I'm at now!) and I feel like it almost helps me focus, all while emitting a mild glow.
